Planning on getting up relatively early tomorrow and finally going to get around to brewing. Methinks I’ll brew one of my Bitters first, then either brew the Dunkelweizen or the other Bitter afterwards. Will post a pictoral play-by-play tomorrow. Recipe I’m using for the Dunkelweizen: 4 lbs Dark Wheat malt 3 lbs German Pils malt 1 lb CaraWheat malt 1 lb Munich malt 8 oz Crystal 60L 4 oz Carafa Special III Will be doing a 90 minute mash at 149, a 90 minute boil. One single 1 oz 60 minute addition of Tettenanger hops. Estimated OG of 1.048 and estimated FG of 1.012. Fermenting with Wyeast 3056 Bavarian Wheat Blend. Will do 2 weeks at 68*F.
