I completely agree with this. I have one as well and it is great. I would love to see what this water profile calculator looks like.

Really nothing special. Just a handful of pages of spreadsheets. It took me a few hours in front of the screen to create, most of which was just tedious data entry

  • Sheets for each year, with the relevant water profile data pulled of my water company’s annual reports
  • Sheets with line graphs showing the average for each month and average for each year that show seasonal trends and yearly trends
  • An “overall” front page sheet with the most useful data- the most recent year’s numbers, and the average numbers for each month (as in for any given month the average numbers of Ca, Mg, Na, Cl, S04, and HC03)

Doesn’t do any more than that. Doesn’t do any actual calculations for salt additions (I use the Brewer’s Friend calculator here for that), but does make it easy to punch in a baseline for any given point in the year into a calculator like that.
