Ok. Something is definitely wrong here. The Dubbel is reading 1.004. It doesn’t taste like it though, it tastes a lot more full.
I checked my hydrometer, at 60 degrees in water it’s reading 1.000. So that’s accurate.
I’m wondering if I need to replace my mash thermometer. I at least need to test the calibration again. I tested it in the past and it was accurate then. So I have no idea. But neither of these beers should have dried out THIS much.
